Several folder and bulk-tool extensions for ChatGPT are sold as subscriptions, and their free plans limit the number of folders.
What it does
A Chrome extension that adds a folder panel to chatgpt.com, multi-select for bulk delete and archive, and export of selected chats or a whole folder to Markdown or JSON (PDF through the print dialog). Folders and chat content stay in your browser storage: no account, only the licence is checked.

Your chats stay in your browser
Folders, folder names and chat content are kept in local browser storage. There is no Tacko account and no Tacko server for your chats; only the licence key is checked, as with AI Chat Handoff Pro.
What is in the first version, and what is not
ChatGPT only. Claude support comes later, and only if enough people ask for it. Subfolders are one level deep. Bulk actions are rate-limited and use the same actions you would click yourself. chatgpt.com changes often, so expect regular fix releases.

Does ChatGPT have folders?
ChatGPT has Projects, which group chats, files and instructions. For many folders and for selecting many chats at once, people use browser extensions such as the ones compared above.
Is there a ChatGPT folders extension without a subscription?
Yes, a few offer lifetime prices (see the comparison above). Handoff Folders is planned at a $19 founding price, paid once. It is not on sale yet.
Can I bulk delete ChatGPT chats?
In ChatGPT itself you delete chats one at a time or delete all of them. Handoff Folders will add multi-select for the chats you choose. Deletion is permanent.
Does it send my chats anywhere?
No. Folders and chat content stay in local browser storage. Only the licence is checked.
When will it be available?
It is not built yet. We will decide after the waitlist shows whether enough people want it, and we will email everyone on the waitlist either way.
Is it affiliated with OpenAI?
No. It is an independent extension by Tacko. ChatGPT is a trademark of OpenAI.
